why can't i use heroes anymore in zaishen elite? - Guild Wars Forums

I tried it this morning again after al long time, my tactic was to use 4 elemantalist with fire skills, breath skills like meteor shower tenei's heat, and than make one big camp fire, the enemies always walk very close to each other and waren't be able to get out of the fire and they always died in a few second's after someone used meteor on them so they would be knocked down in like 5 tenei's heat

Not being able to use heroes in zaishen challenge is ridiculously lame. The amount of faction you can get is capped anyway, like it really matters if anyone wants to do zaishen challenge once in a while with heroes for some quick faction.

Yeah, that place doesn't prepare you for real PvP anyways. I'd be happy if they at least added the HA henchmen.

I think someone said it had to do with Hero Battles and using the same coding. (Honestly have no idea really). Got rid of one and the other went away. I've been doing them with my Ranger. Just trap and bring 3 hench along, not the warrior one because he runs out to them which can screw you up. They go poof and only the Ele group will give you trouble on occasion. Can't see the reason for not having heroes since the cap is 6k...*shrugs.

Because for some reason, ZE is considered PvP and heroes aren't allowed in PvP anymore.

They prevented heroes from being able to enter any PvP matches so that people could add their heroes to their party in the GH. the original plan was just to prevent heroes in HA and GvG. they did this by not allowing you to add heroes to party in those outposts. PvE players had an outcry about not being able to add heroes to party in Guild Halls. It was switched to heroes not being able to enter any pvp combat period, including zaishen elite.

Used to enjoy that place (apart from the bloody Ranger group), used to be something to do between quests/missions etc. but now............bah!

Not really. Its possible but takes far too long. The henchmen in the outpost still have the worst henchie builds ever made.

I used to attempt with the henchmen, it does indeed take too long. One is best off rolling a trapper or a nuker and just getting in with a PUG. There always seem to be people wanting groups in there.
